About This Place

Situated in the vibrant Walnut Street corridor of Dallas, Bếp Nhà (Viet Kitchen) is a compelling destination for lovers of authentic Vietnamese and Pho cuisine. This charming eatery expertly marries traditional recipes with a welcoming, casual atmosphere that instantly feels like a comforting glimpse into Vietnamese home cooking.

From the moment you peruse their diverse menu, it’s clear that Bếp Nhà takes pride in showcasing the rich tapestry of flavors that define Vietnamese culinary culture. Standout dishes like the Bún Bò Huế offer a deeply aromatic broth infused with lemongrass and just the right touch of chili heat, layered with tender beef cuts, pork hock, and Vietnamese sausage for a balanced, soulful experience. The Mì Quảng, a vibrant yellow noodle soup brimming with boiled pork, plump shrimp, and a silky boiled egg, is another must-try – its complex savory notes and subtle textures resonate deeply with anyone seeking authentic regional flavors.

The restaurant’s Pho offerings are equally enticing, with options ranging from the classic Phở Đặc Biệt Combination, featuring a generous mix of beef cuts, to the delicate Phở Gà (chicken noodle soup) and a thoughtfully prepared Phở Chay for vegan diners. Each bowl brims with a fragrant, slow-simmered broth that is both rich and clean, reflecting the care and precision behind every element.

Bếp Nhà goes beyond traditional noodle soups to present specialties like the Bún Đặc Biệt combination vermicelli bowl, steaming with charbroiled shrimp, grilled pork, and crisp-fried shrimp bean cake, garnished with shredded pork skin for added texture. Their Cơm Gà Xối Mỡ, a deep-fried whole Cornish hen that arrives golden and crispy, reveals a mastery of balancing indulgence with refined Vietnamese flavors.

The drink menu complements the food beautifully with inventive choices such as delicate Ube Coffee, robust Smoked Coffee, refreshing Lychee Tea (highly praised by patrons), and house-special cold brews that lighten the palate between savory bites. Weekends bring an especially sweet touch with complimentary traditional desserts like Chè, adding an authentic finish to the dining experience.

Guests frequently commend Bếp Nhà not only for its flavorful dishes but also for its generous portions and attentive service. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, featuring charming décor that pairs well with the unfussy, heartfelt cuisine. Whether you’re a Pho enthusiast or new to Vietnamese fare, this spot offers a well-rounded, accessible exploration of the cuisine’s depth and variety. Repeat visitors, like Anh Duong, appreciate how their favorite dishes remain reliable crowd-pleasers, singling out Mì Quảng and Cơm Tấm as consistent standbys.

In summary, Bếp Nhà stands out as a genuine Vietnamese culinary haven in Dallas—its menu rich with bold, balanced flavors, welcoming vibe, and thoughtful service make it more than just a meal, but a meaningful dining experience. Whether stopping by for a comforting bowl of Pho, sharing a vermicelli platter with friends, or savoring the unexpected delight of their unique beverage selections, this kitchen captures the heart and soul of Vietnamese cooking with reverence and flair.

Not a bad place! The food was very well cooked and healthy. As someone who doesn’t frequent Vietnamese places, I cannot compare it to others but the tofu fish cake item was good they also have free desserts. It was good as well. It is in a nice area and the drinks were also unique.

Pretty decent spot for Vietnamese dishes in the area. I work nearby so I've been visiting this place quite often for lunch and snacks. Everything is well proportionate and the price is affordable.

4.5/5 rounding to 5 We go at least once a month, and it’s always a good time going to Bep Nha! Absolutely LOVE the free desserts on the weekend! The decor is super cute, and the portions are large (though can be inconsistent on certain days). Service is decent with some employees more attentive than others. Most of the options are solid like Mi Quang, Bun Bo Hue, Com Tam, and Mi Ga. Drinks are a bit too sweet for my taste. I do appreciate the restaurant trying to improve themselves. A few dishes were okay before, and now they’re great!

Bếp Nhà – Viet’s Kitchen 9780 Walnut St Suite 120, Dallas, TX 75243 (near Hong Kong Market) My husband and I with our little girlstopped by yesterday, and honestly — it truly tasted like home! ???????? Bún Bò Huế (Hue-style spicy beef noodle soup): The broth was rich, aromatic, and full of lemongrass flavor — just the right level of spice. The beef, pork hock, and Vietnamese sausage were tender and flavorful. Every spoonful brought me back to the time I had Bún Bò in Hue — authentic and comforting! Cơm Hến (Baby clam rice): This one was a true surprise! The rice was flavorful, topped with crispy peanuts and fresh herbs. But the highlight was definitely the fermented anchovy sauce (mắm nêm) — perfectly balanced, salty and fragrant, just like back home in Central Vietnam. Overall: Cozy spot, quick service, great flavor, and very fair prices. If you miss authentic Central Vietnamese food, this place is a must-try!

If you're looking for the best Vietnamese food in town, this is the spot! The broken rice with grilled pork and a fried egg is so incredibly delicious it keeps us coming back. Their spicy beef noodle is my personal favorite, rich in flavor and satisfying. Be sure to visit on the weekend for a free dessert! The clean atmosphere and excellent service make it an ideal place to enjoy a great meal with friends and family.
